Selenium is a DeFi protocol powered by smart contracts on the Terra Classic network that enables the creation of synthetic assets called Selenized Assets. THE PROTOCOL
Selenium Protocol is an innovative decentralized finance (DeFi) platform designed to provide global access to synthetic assets. Through Selenized Assets (sAssets), users can replicate the price of any real-world asset, such as stocks, commodities, and indices, without needing to directly own the underlying securities. Creation of Selenized Assets (Minting)
The first pillar of the protocol is the ability for users to create Selenized Assets. This process takes place by depositing collateral such as supported stablecoins or cryptocurrencies, ensuring that each synthetic asset is fully backed. Full collateralization not only enables the creation of the assets but also protects the system from insolvency events, maintaining the stability and security of the protocol.

The second pillar is decentralized liquidity. Selenized Assets can be freely traded on decentralized exchanges (DEX) like terraport.finance, providing users with a trustless environment for fast, secure, and transparent transactions. Liquidity Provision
The third pillar is liquidity provision. Users who contribute liquidity to the protocol’s pools receive LP tokens. We will start with the Launchpad on Terraport, to present the project to the community and increase our visibility. Subsequently, fundraising will take place through a presale on selenium.finance, where early investors will have access to unique benefits and the opportunity to participate and support the development of the protocol.
Protocol demonstration with testnet launch
To showcase the capabilities and security of our protocol, we will initially launch it on testnet and make it available in a trial version for users. This phase will allow us to highlight its functionalities in a controlled environment, gathering valuable feedback before the final release.
Development of strategic partnerships
Throughout the project, we will aim to establish strategic partnerships with key players both within and outside the Terra Classic ecosystem. These collaborations will strengthen our presence and accelerate the adoption of our technology.
Audit process post-presale
Once the presale phase is concluded, we will begin the protocol audit process and make the smart contracts open-source. This will ensure maximum security and transparency of our code, increasing trust among the community and future investors.
Token distribution and
official protocol launch
After the audit, we will proceed with the token distribution to both presale investors and eligible users from the Terraport Launchpad airdrop. The protocol will then officially launch on the Terra Classic mainnet.

To foster a dynamic market, we will integrate a cross-chain system for synthetic assets. This will enhance the trading experience and liquidity, allowing users to trade assets across different blockchains compatible with EVM networks.
Development of a management interface for synthetic assets
Once synthetic assets are launched on EVM networks, we will implement a user-friendly UI for managing these assets. Users will be able to easily manage, trade, and monitor their synthetic investments, optimizing control over their positions.
